How to upload photos to Google Photos (mobile)

Uploading photos to Google Photos on your mobile device is a quick and easy process. To get started, open the app and select the “Library” tab at the bottom of your screen. From there, tap the “+” icon in the top right corner of your screen.

You’ll see two options: “Upload” or “Take a photo”. If you want to add existing photos from your camera roll, select “Upload”. This will take you to your device’s photo gallery where you can select one or multiple photos to upload.

Once you’ve chosen which photos you want to upload, hit the blue button with an upward arrow in it located in the bottom right corner. Your selected photos will then begin uploading to Google Photos.

It’s important to note that if you have unlimited high-quality storage turned on (which compresses image files), any uploaded images won’t count towards your overall storage limit. However, if you prefer keeping original quality images (which doesn’t compress them), they will count towards your free 15GB storage limit provided by Google Photos!

How to upload photos to Google Photos (desktop)

Uploading photos to Google Photos on desktop is a simple task that can be done in just a few clicks. To begin, open your web browser and go to the Google Photos website. From there, click on the “Upload” button located in the top right corner of the screen.

You will then be prompted to choose which photos you want to upload from your computer’s files. You can select individual photos or entire folders by clicking on them with your mouse.

Once you have selected all of the photos you wish to upload, click on the “Open” button at the bottom right corner of your window. This will initiate the upload process.

Depending on how many photos you are uploading and their file sizes, it may take some time for them all to fully upload onto Google Photos. Be sure not to close out of your internet browser until they are finished uploading.

Once complete, you should see all of your newly uploaded photos appear in Google Photos organized by date taken or uploaded. With these simple steps, uploading photos onto Google Photos through desktop has never been easier!
