By using the remote
If you’re having trouble with your Fire TV Stick, one of the first things you can try is restarting it. This can be done either by using the remote that came with your device, or by unplugging it from the power adapter for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
To restart your Fire TV Stick using the remote, simply press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. You’ll know it’s working when you see the light on the front of the device start to flash. Once it’s done flashing, release the buttons and your Fire TV Stick will restart.
If you’re having trouble finding the right button combination on your remote, you can also try unplugging your Fire TV Stick from its power adapter for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. This will also restart your device
